2. One day
The father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with
the express purpose of showing him how poor people live
3. They
spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a
very poor family
4. On their
return from their trip, the father asked his son How was the trip? It was
great, Dad. Did you see how poor people live? the father asked. Oh yeah, said
the son. So, tell me, what you learned from the trip? asked the father.
5. The son
answered: I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that
reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end …
6. … We
have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio
reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small
piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond
7. … We
have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they
grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us; they have friends
to protect them
8. The
boy's father was speechless Then his son added, Thanks Dad for showing me how
poor we are
9. Isn't
perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all
gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't
have

2. Jednog dana otac vrlo bogate porodice pošao sa njegovoim
sin na put po zemlji uz izričitu svrhu da vidi kako žive siromašni ljudi
3. Oni su proveli
nekoliko dana i noći na imanju onih koje su smatrani za vrlo siromašnu porodicu
4. Na povratku sa
putovanja, otac je pitao sina, kako je bilo na putu? Bilo je super, tata. Da li
si vidio kako žive siromašni ljudi? pitao je otac. Oh, da, rekao je sin. Dakle,
reci mi, što si naučio na putovanju? pitao je otac.
5. sin je
odgovorio: Vidio sam, mi imamo jednog psa, a oni imaju četiri. Mi imamo bazen
koji doseže do sredine našeg vrta, a oni imaju potok kojem nema kraja ...

uvozne lampione u našem vrtu, a oni po noći imaju zvijezde. Mi imamo pogled do
kraja dvorišta, a oni imaju cijeli horizont. Mi imamo mali komad zemlje na kome
živimo, a oni imaju nepregledna polja

sluge koje nas služe, ali oni služe drugima. Mi kupujemo našu hranu, a njihova
raste. Mi imamo zidove oko kuće koji nas štite, oni imaju prijatelje da ih
zaštite
8. Dječakov otac
je ostao bez teksta, a onda njegov sin dodao, hvala tata što si mi pokazao kako
smo siromašni
9. Nije li ovo
perspektiva jedne divne stvari? Čini se da se pitate šta bi se dogodilo kad
bismo svi bili zahvalni na onome što imamo, umjesto što vodimo brigu o onome
što nemamo

svaku stvar koju imate!
